A Small Step for us, A Big Step towards our Goal!

Last Saturday, June 13, 2020, after Second Saturday Tai Chi, Bill C., Melinda K., and Michel C. went to the McConnell Arboretum to dig post holes for the sign we plan to place there. With post hole digger, crow bar, and shovels we dug two holes for placement of our sign. We are not allowed to use concrete so we had to dig 24 inches deep. Most of the digging was fairly easy until we hit hardpan around 21". The crow bar came in very handy at that point. Melinda's husband provided the pictures from the distance.
